When I say that my characters build themselves, I shit you not. The Name Fafnir was a working name for the SAI file while I figured it out. It stuck. And it was perfect. Fafnir, the golden dragon, guardian of the cursed hoard. Oh, what shall he become? Where shall I put him? Wasn't he supposed to be female? There I go again with the gender swaps. Whatever….

There's something about these (cull dogs and just those I pick up with no intent to breed). When you have no stakes in these things (no breeding plans or obligations), your muse just goes crazy over it. Don’t you just adore those curly locks? This sketch came out more like I hope from my sketches.
