The Merlequin, double merle and also a harlequin. She was going to have her own spots, but I kept getting frustrated because they didn't look good no matter how I made them. I really wish I had a splatter brush. This was tiring. It also just ended up looking bad P|

Pack: Di Vernice
Name: No real name, but refered to as "(The) Merlequin" or in rare cases "The Painted Lady".
Breed: I don't know. Afghan, aussie, dane, poodle, saluki, whatever mix? Doesn't matter. Muttsy.
Gender: Female
Age: Two or three years...

Personality: Because of her handicaps, she's treated like an idiot (a competent idiot, but still), and she's doing a good job of keeping up the image. Eye deformation makes her partially (mostly) blind. Thought to also be deaf and dumb, but really, she just never speaks and is slow to respond to spoken language. Unless they're right in her face, she's more likely to ignore a dog, retreating into her own mind. Even then, she gives little indication of understanding, often getting herself pinned to the floor; more so with strangers, since they don't treat her like a handicap dog and less often assume deafness.

Strengths: Not being deaf XD While she would rather play dumb, she's aware of the things going on around her, even when others think there's no one around to hear. She's actually highly observant, although she's slow at interaction.

Weaknesses: Malformation caused by her double merle covers most of her eye. Fur; her tail especially can get heavy with paint, water, mud and debris and drags. She's not frail as a purebred sighthound, but she is inconveniently light...

Reasons for joining: Having been brutally abandoned by her owners (attempted to strangle her to death and literally dropped her off at the expressway) and harassed by multiple stray dogs, she decided it was best to find a powerful pack in which she could shelter herself from the world.

The Di Vernice were (luckily) the closest pack to where she'd been when she made the split-second decision. It made a good fit for her because, even though she didn't have many particular talents (her speed had been taken from her when her tail grew without maintenance), she did have a knack for art. Despite being mostly blind, she is patient enough to complete pieces in detail, even if it takes a while to find them. Also, she's not completely useless. She can run an errand just as any mutt.
